The Story collection is a collaboration between Paper and the designer, Samar Assaf in an exclusive capsule collection that presents the story behind the embroidery. The items in the collection are unique and hand woven and express the characteristics of traditional dresses that Palestinian women traditionally wear. However, unlike the customary dresses, the pieces are made with cotton and various comfortable everyday
materials while making the "galabiya" dresses original characteristics the main focus of attention. The meticulous work of hand embroidery is the result of the creation of women who have succeeded in preserving the traditional and possessing a skill that has almost gone distinct. Each item in the collection is individually woven and each has it's own story.
